FIRST, LOVE.

The core of our focus is based on Matthew 22:35-40.

“One of them, an expert in religious law, tried to trap him with this question: Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.” Matt 22:36-40

In this exchange, Jesus gives us this profound focus: Love God and Love neighbors… EVERYTHING else is based on these two things.

This is our quest: To work out how to truly love God and love our neighbors.

LIVING ON MISSION

We live as dispersed Jesus-followers who live out His Love for those around us.

“Forced to leave home base, the followers of Jesus all became missionaries. Wherever they were scattered, they preached the Message about Jesus.” - Acts 8:4-5 MSG

We seek to live “on mission” in three ways:

• Daily life discipleship in our homes and around our tables.

• Loving our literal neighbors as a sanctifying practice.

• Being the priests of our streets & spheres and bringing the Presence of Yahweh to humanity.

BIBLICAL PRACTICES

We explore and participate in the sacred practices of faith described in the Bible. These practices connect us to Yahweh and each other. Including:

• Sabbath

• Prayer

• Bible study

• Worship

• Generosity & Tithing

• Community

• Yahweh-culture living

• Passover & communion
